Whiteout

Winter around Calgary takes almost everything away: colour, distance, the line where land meets sky. These frames keep what is left.

Calgary, Alberta, 2026

A single thin tree on a white horizon, sky and snowfield almost the same tone.
I
Three bare trunks standing close together where fog meets snow.
II
An empty snowfield under flat grey light, with no horizon line visible.
III
A tall, narrow view of one tree, small against a wide white sky.
IV
Two pale trunks at the edges of the frame, fog filling the space between.
